the hotel is not accessible by car and it is not recommended to reach there by walk as they mentioned to us, so you shall always contact reception and wait few minutes so they send a ferry, which is almost always available at the moment (except one time in 4 days that we stayed there). the location is super beautiful and peaceful and you feel definitely safe. the structure is a fabulous centenary house, the garden and pool are fantastic but the rooms are a bit old and used. we passed the first night in a room where the bed was super noisy, so the day after we asked and the reception gave us another room without any problem. really helpful and available staff. the breakfast has fruits, sweet and salty options (no fresh juice) but what it makes it fantastic is the Manager! Fiat, was super available and helpful, he understood that my husband is celiac and from the next day they were preparing gluten free pancakes and waffles for him! never seen someone this much kind and helpful without even asking… the only reason that I will give a 9 instead of 10 are the rooms…

A charming green oasis in the midst of this busy city. I stayed all together for 10 days while having dental treatment. It was very easy and fun to be ferried across river, from where to catch a boat ( Chayo Praya express or Tourist boat) to all the main attractions in Bangkok or to skytrain. After a hectic day, it was a joy to return to this beautiful villa, have a swim in the lovely pool and enjoy excellent authentic Thai food in the lavish restaurant. Breakfast - buffet or selection was wonderful and plenty. Staff always helpful and friendly. I had a very early flight home ... and staff went out of their way to make sure all went smoothly and got me and my luggage across the river and into a taxi to the airport. Thank you, I will definitely stay again.

The location of the hotel was lovely, a quiet oasis on a busy river, and we loved the hotel's shuttle ferry to cross the river to the pier for the river ferries and tourist boats. We loved all the wooden floors and furniture and the pool on a hot day was great. The food at breakfast and dinner was great and the staff were all friendly and super helpful. A special mention for Poe the operations manager who was fantastic! He always greeted us with a big smile and went out of his way to help us with the pick up for our taxi back to the airport and organising a 'packed' breakfast as we had to check out early.

The location of the hotel is very romantic, as well as the garden overlooking the river. The transfer with the boat works very well - only once we had to wait 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and highly professional. Our problem was that we got a wrong room and it was not possible to change it because of the wedding which was taking place during our stay in Palazzo. The room overlooked the backyard, the old AC was very loud and either too strong or too weak. The room was humid and smelly. For the last night we were moved into the best room upstairs ( junior suite) to feel the difference.

What didn't we like, from the dedicated water taxi to the breakfast cooked to order it was in a class of its own. The hotel was truly beautiful; an older colonial villa that transported you back to a more refined era of life, it was totally unexpected for central Bangkok. If you want flash and brash this is not for you, its refined, elegant and demands a slower pace of life. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, the pool was lovely and breakfast was a really enjoyable time ot relax and feel special. My wife and I totally loved the place.
